MJ has decided to take up water colour painting. He's bought all the kit and between Sydney and Hong Kong intends to become a celebrity artist with the help of George Grumshaw the new tutor on board. There appears to be fierce competition.
He has already ascertained that the guy who sits next to him is colour blind!
Hi Mike and Avril.
ReplyDeleteI have been following your adventure with interest and hope that in spite of all the setbacks you are enjoying yourselves! Just had a look at Arcadia onboard webcam and got a view of the sea so I guess thats where youre at.
Life here continues to be compellingly dull, a chink of light has appeared in the form of a thing called the sun making the world seem a brighter place. I have been busy practising singing for the festival and definitely worked out that the sopranos are young and gorgeous compared to the altos who seem to be fossilized in their seats and only let out a squeak now and then - fortunately none of them are blind so can at least see the music! love FrancesX
Bonjour les marins,
ReplyDeleteSuper histoires racontrer avec beaucoup de precision, stories from all over the world and yet it seems we "desperate housewives" are more interested in the Arcadias Laundrette!Surely "world class" passengers have this service provided! Stil............
I have been conjuring up images of mike in his chapeau de paille, easel and brush in hand next to "Le Wafou" chatting up potential clients whilst we sip away in the profits in cocktails during Happy Hour, perhaps Jacky could strum the guitar next to him and we could drink twice as much!!!!
Seems you've had as many ups as downs so we both wish you continued happy sailing and look forward to more histoires! How are the swimming pools, Spas etc on board?4 now Gros Bisous Lynn & 'im xxxxxxxx
