Well everyone knows about Sydney, Australia. So all I have to add is that we have
just had two fabulous days there moored up right in the main harbour. I reckon Mike
and I had the best hotel toom in Sidney - our cabin being at the back of the boat -
on our left we looked out on to The Harbour Bridge and on our right the Sydney
opera house. Took some great shots of the skyline as we sailed in just before
sunrise - a magical sight. HAd a great time doing lots of touristy things, savouring lot of Australian wine. Next stop Brisbane!

How fabulous ! You must have savoured your wonderful time on dry land in both NZ and Sydney and you seem to have got a good taster of both places- views to remember for ever.It continues to be miserable and wet here but slightly warmer- you have certainly picked the right time to run away from all this plus avoiding political stories to make one scream out loud. House is fine- Nik checked it all out yesterday and spoke to your Mum yesterday too. Enjoy Brisy and the heat- oh for the sun on our backs ! LOL Jackie and Nik xx
ReplyDeleteNZ Sounds wonderful Avril and such a great read, really felt as if I was sitting next to you taking it all in esppecially your priveleged balcony view of Sydey Harbour most impressive§
ReplyDeleteAre you benefiting form the swimming pools and dancing lessons on board with your fellow passengers the 'Yorkshire Wrinklies!!?" or as I imagine the bars have a much better view!!
Keep up the reports please - who knows one day you may have a best seller with all your confessions of the Long Distance Hurricane Our Runners!! Down to the South next week for a few days so will check that Les Sangliers haven't installed themselves in your garden this year- continue to have a fab time and speak soon
LOL

HI Avril, Walked by your house this morning. All looks well. It was frosty but finally, finally the sun was out and it was beautiful! Daffodils are 5 weeks behind schedule...I'm envious of the tropical temperatures you must be having. Hope all is well. xxKaren
