We are soon to leave the seas of the southern hemisphere and at midnight tonight
(GMT +9) we shall cross the Equator into the Maluccas Sea and on into the Celebes Sea en route to Borneo to the port of Kota Kinabolu. Every time I look at the atlas of this part of the world I come across names I have never heard of before. A true delight!

Hi Avril and Mike,
ReplyDeleteIt's breathtaking trying to keep up with you,
am envious of all the wonderful sights you
are seeing and am getting itchy feet! I think
I told you John sailed on original Arcadia,
probably a cadet then or junior officer.
Only mundane things to report, weather been cold windy not happy golfing conditions, always a bad
hair day! Writers circle was cosy and friendly
as always at John's. Visited Nadine on Monday she is so frail but chirpy as ever. Went to Loch Fyne with Rosemary and Sylvia Thursday night, it was packed, we enjoyed our meal. Virginnia is taking me to Groucho club on Monday, if she remembers! Also I am going to see Van Gogh exhibition at RA next week. Went to see
Avatar it is quite amazing. Not sitting in my study much but kerry is still planning on making ten minute film of my script, when she finds the time. Has to be soon to enter for her MA course.
Looking forward to seeing you on your return.
Next Elmbridge is at Rosemary's! Enjoy, next
thing will be your film evening of your cruise
when you get back! Love Lesley
